Orthopaedic treatment
We provide all common orthopaedic procedures, with a particular focus on arthritic joint replacements in hips and knees. Orthopaedic procedures are performed at the Horovice Hospital, where more than 1,000 total joint replacements and more than 50 revision surgeries are performed annually.
The accredited orthopaedic department of the Horovice Hospital provides care for patients with degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, especially large joints, including implants of total hip and knee joint endoprosthesis, as well as treatment of chronic and traumatic soft joint diseases (arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament plastics). An integral part of care is the prevention of congenital dysplasia of the hip joint of newborns and its basic conservative treatment.
After orthopaedic surgery, we also offer subsequent rehabilitation treatments in the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital.
